He Always Be By My Side

I realize on that time
When I am not like myself now
I had made my promise
Promise to Him
My Lord

I’m here now
Breathe and live in His territory
Living with peace and harmony
But I still miss my homeland

I learn to know and love Him
Even though I had met Him long time ago
Did I forget?

I discover that this life is not easy
He always gives me trials and tests
Sometimes I felt very exhausted in facing them

Did He know I’m very tired?
Certainly YES!
He just wants me to remember Him

He knows
By testing me with difficulties and misery
I will seek Him
I will ask His help and love

And that was He wants
He misses His servants’ ask and pray
The more prays and requests
The more love He gave

But I always forget Him
Be hectic with my daily life
Rushing for worldly matters
Ignoring my ultimate destination

Not for Him
He wants His servants possess the best life
Provides them with necessities
And nobleness

O Allah, please forgive me
Forgive all my sins to You
Still today
I can’t be Your best servant
Unless with Your bounties and bless
At all my times
I know my life is temporary
My journey is still long
And many challenges have to be faced

As a weak and needy servant
I need Him
In each seconds
In each inhale of oxygen
In every steps along my journey
And in all my converse and actions

Indeed
There is no doubt and hesitate
Because I ‘m very convinced
With my promise to Him
Long time ago
And I know
He always be by my side
